just a few cute ideas and what I wore to the Bahamas….

What I Wore to the Bahamas
After coming home from spring break in the Bahamas, I heard Will Smith’s ‘summertime’ song so mentally, I am officially in summer season. Temperatures below 70 degrees will not be tolerated. If you’re in the same boat, hop on board and let’s dress like we’re smelling salt air and basking in the sun.
Summer Outfits

Now, you know I love to repeat an outfit. From a dress I wore in Italy three years ago, swimsuits I’ve owned from years, and even a Trina Turk dress from 2008 that I wore on Easter – I shopped my closet first.
But I also know that doesn’t help you find new items that may work in your wardrobe, so here are a few things that are available.
OOTN Dinner Dresses:
Both of these dresses are under $100 and come in a few colors. This sand strapless dress my first night out dress to The Ocean Club at the Four Seasons. The second white crop and skirt set (my favorite!) I wore to Nobu at the Atlantis.
Swimsuit:
Most of swimwear is a few years old, but added to the packing list was this Quince two piece set. I’ve been raving about Quince dresses in videos like this Favorite Things and showcasing in Spring Outfits. But now, I’m loving their classic swimsuits. If you never tried Quince before, you can use my code {INFG-25KELLIENASSER_10} for 10% off your first order. (p.s., I’m such a fan that I also love their linen shorts and sunglasses).
Cover Up:
This sheer coverup is a great piece that I know will show up for years to come. I feel like it would perfect for those days when you need to be in a swimsuit, but also be ready to dressed. For example, on vacation, if you rented a boat for the day and needed to walk through town. Perfection!
Pajamas:
Truth be told, but I have been trying to elevate my sleepwear game for years. I have tried fancy silk gowns but honestly revert back to ratty old shirts. I was purchasing pajamas for my kids from Petite Plum and decided to give this set a try. And I’m obsessed. I’m secretly hinting that I want another set for Mother’s Day.

A Note About Wearing Crop Tops In Your 40’s
Not gonna lie… it took some courage to wear a crop top outfit, but I’m so glad I talked myself into it. Now, I was scrolling and looking for cute outfits under $100. This came up with the filters and made me pause. But, I thought…
“Should I be wearing this at my age? ”
The answer to these questions in your mind is simple: Just try it on. If you don’t feel your best, scrap it. But if you feel like a million bucks – wear the dress! I tried it on and just couldn’t say no. I also just got it as a back up to the sand colored dress. I’m so glad I took the chance, because it was my favorite look from the trip.
So don’t rule out a cut out or a slit or a crop top because of your age. You just may never know….
Hope you enjoyed a few things of what I wore in the Bahamas!
