I hope that everyone had an amazing Memorial Day weekend! We decided to forgo additional packing and house prepping and enjoy the weekend at Jeff’s family lake house. The kids had the best time! As a patriotic holiday, a little red, white and blue is in order. Some of my favorite colors of summer!! Today, I’m rounding up a few summery looks featuring these bold American hues.

Of course you can wear these all together, but I usually keep them separate. I find that I like to accessorize with red more – either earrings or a bright red lip. There is no hiding my love of white denim jeans {you can check out this post or this one to see}, which look great with a blue top and statement earrings. And the colors can be so casual or dressed up for special occasions. Even when I went to Napa I couldn’t resist wearing a red maxi dress and blue jumpsuit! Red is definitely a color to wear to a summer wedding or date night.
While Memorial Day weekend is just the start of red, white and blue season, there are still plenty of reasons to wear these colors in the upcoming months. The Fourth of July will be here before you know it!
