Hi Friends! If you are heading on vacation or traveling and want a quick, effective, full body workout – this workout is for you! No equipment needed. Great for small spaces. And if you’re like me who wants to get a little movement in while mainly staying in vacation mode, you’re going to repeat this one.

 

10 Minute Travel Workout Session

Last month while we were in the Bahamas, I hit up the fitness center. Now, they wouldn’t let me bring weights outside. But I just saw that as an opportunity to do some body weight exercises.

More and more, when I’m hitting up a gym on vacation, I see people with their phones propped up and doing an online workout. So I thought I should share mine so you can stay on top of your fitness goals the next time you travel.

Should I workout during vacation?

Getting some movement in is never a bad thing. Exercise gives you that endorphin hit, and boosts your mood and energy. Plus, having a sweat session can push out some toxins in the body if say, you’re really enjoying the adult beverages on your trip.

My approach to workouts on vacation is a no stress approach. I like to get it in at the start of my day, which means after a late wake up time and a coffee. That way, the rest of the day is lounging and relaxing.

But workouts are not just going to gym. They can be walks on the beach, a walking day in a new city, and playing with kids. Seriously, I came home with great abs one July after helping my nephew dig in the sand for a week.
