Hi Friends! đź‘‹ Well, I’m back with a workout!! After so many of you have asked when the workout videos will return, I decided to add one to the mix.

why this workout is making me think differently

This year I started sharing about my rebrand. How I wanted to shake things up on my channels. Put myself out there and try new things. After a few months in, there are some data points, feedback, and learnings that are shaping my decisions going forward. And as you come along with me on this journey, I wanted to share those with you.

One of the strategies content experts give to grow is “define your niche”. Others, whom I’ve gravitated toward, talk about “content pillars”: basically, 3-5 topics that interest you to rotate in your feed. If you follow me on social channels, you may have noticed this. While it sounds slightly manufactured, this point in my content creation journey has been the easiest and least stress because I find it harder to be defined as one thing rather than share different aspects of my life.

When I post about clothes, outfit ideas, shopping your closet and wearing one piece four different ways – these get the most views, comments, engagement, likes, even sales that I earn a commission on. More followers join. And I recently have been approached by a brand I love to partner with them. All good things.

But even though my YouTube channel is relatively small with 4,200 amazing subscribers, I know that many of them joined when I was making barre sculpt videos and Taylor Swift cardio dance workouts. On Instagram, a very common DM is “ I miss the workout videos”. In real life, people tell me how they went on vacation and watched one of my workout videos. I mean, I am a fitness instructor! Why shouldn’t these be part of the content I make??!?

The conclusion is: I am making space for these videos.

Let’s workout together, wear classic coastal clothes, go on vacation together by the water and pick up some flowers from Trader Joe’s. How does that sound?
