Continuing on my love of Target finds, I’m giving this leopard too a post of its own. I’ve been slowly adding leopard prints into my wardrobe – sneakers, a blouse, and now that summer is here, I just couldn’t resist this leopard tank.
Now, I don’t immediately think of animal prints for the summer. But then again, I wouldn’t have called it a neutral a few years ago. With my mission to wear more than just red and blue this year, I thought this would add some nice variety to my closet.
Whats great about this leopard top from Target is that the colors are light and have an airy feel. Same for the fabric. It gets so hot in DC so I don’t need any assistance in the sweat department.
Here are the three ways I’ve styled it for summer….
Leopard + White Pants
Shorts: J Crew / Hat: H&M / Sandals: Soludos
Paired with an unequivocal summer staple, animal prints go so well with white. You can bet that I’ll also wear this top with white jeans. This breezy look is super casual, but the leopard makes it look a little fancier than your average summer top.
Night Out Look
Shorts: LOFT / Blazer: Zara / Tortoise Shell Earrings: no longer available, but similar at Target here / Black Heels: Alexandre Birman / Nude Heels: Sam Edleman
This has quickly become my summer go to look. I’ve been fortunate to have a few date nights and mom night outs recently. This look I’ve worn a few times. The blazer is great for when it gets cooler in the evening, but if it’s super hot out, just the shorts and heels make the perfect evening look.
Feminine Leopard
Skirt: Rachel Parcel / Heels: Charles David / Earrings: Baublebar
This look was an experiment for me. Because of the soft colors in this Target top, I thought it would look really pretty with pink. This would be a great wear to work look or even a bridal shower, rehearsal dinner outfit.
If you need any additional convincing on this amazing leopard top, it’s only $20. Trust me, you’ll be wearing this for years to come.
How do you wear leopard?
