Anyone else so ready for September? The month of August has been a rollercoaster. Amazing highs of spending time at the lake and celebrating the summer as well as stress and anxiety of trying to figure out school.
AUGUST RECAP
I felt like this last month I did a lot of growing and setting the stage for what’s to come. For starters, I am officially a certified fitness instructor!! This was something I had on my goals list in the beginning of the year. I encourage you to take a look at the goals you set back in January. If there are still items on your list, there is no time like the present to take the first step to achieve them.
I’m also working on updating the blog!! I started FBM back in 2017 and while I’m proud of how far I’ve come, there is lots of room to improve. Actually investing in the site is long overdue. I can’t wait to share with you once it’s complete.
OK, let’s get into the fun stuff…
Instagram Recap
I didn’t post as much as I like to, but instead focused on those tasks I mentioned above. I did have a few fun outfits that really deserve to be highlighted!
As a reminder, you can shop my posts from Instagram on Like to Know It. I just started adding videos too!

What I watched In August
One of our friends recommended the show, the Great, and it was amazing!! I’m a huge fan of the Crown and love stories about royals. This one is about Catherine the Great. Unlike the Crown, this show is meant to be funny and not always historically accurate. It even says in the opening * a sometimes true story. You can find it on Hulu and if you watch it, let me know what you think!

What I’m Reading
My reading slowed down this month big time. I finished Get Rich Lucky Bitch and then took some time off to reflect on my business. It really made me visualize what my goals were.
I also started reading Mrs. Everything by Jennifer Weiner . I’m really liking it so far and also forcing myself to get back into the habit of unwinding at night with a book. Hopefully I’ll have a full review by next month’s post.
Last Thoughts
I’m so excited to head into the fall. Bring on all the sweaters, and cozy outfits. One of my favorite things about this year is soup. There is nothing better than a hearty and healthy soup on a crisp autumn day.
If you have a favorite soup recipe, drop the link in the comments below. You can also email or DM me!
Wishing you a wonderful month! And to all the Virgos and Libras our there, sending happy birthday thoughts your way.
xo,
Kellie
