I love clean beauty almost just as much as I love Target. So why not combine the two! More and more retailers are offering clean options of products and Target is really doing a great job. I’ve personally purchased many clean beauty products at Target and yeah, usually throw one or two in my cart before heading out of the store. While I haven’t tried all of these brands, they are on my list to check out.
What is Clean at Target?
Target puts it’s Clean symbol on beauty products without sulfates (SLES), proplyparabens, butylparabens, phthalates, and more. Some of these products go beyond the standards that Target puts out, as there is not one defined, agreed upon list of clean beauty rules.

- Honest Beauty: Founded by Jessica Alba, this clean beauty brand is more than baby diapers and wipes. Honest beauty offers everything from cute lip crayons {featured in my best clean lipstick post} , skincare and more.
- Native: These have great natural scents. I love their deodorant. They are super effective and cruelty free.
- Love Beauty + Planet: This one is my favorite! I always have their shampoo, condition and body wash on hand. Check out my healthy hair post.
- Versed: This brand formulates without over 1,300+ questionable ingredients at drugstore prices.
- Olive + June: Started as a nail salon in Beverly Hills, you can now get this clean nail polish at Target.
- Burt’s Bees: Not just lip balm, this brand has expanded to offer more products with their beeswax.
- PYT Beauty: Made with recycled plastic, this brand is cruelty free, vegan and hypoallergenic
