I was soooo excited to wear this classic hot pink cocktail dress for our school’s annual fundraiser. It’s such a nice evening, having fun with parents and teachers while not chasing your kids around.
If you read this post, you know the event did not happen. What did happen, was kind of amazing though. The committee chairman and I got in our fabulous dresses and stood outside of the school with our fellow gala members to share the auction items with the community.
The day felt like a giant send off. We knew we wouldn’t be seeing each other anytime soon so it was nice to say goodbyes at pick up.
Going back to this amazing hot pink cocktail dress. This is the first year attending the gala that I went with such a bold color. The first year I kept it simple with a one shoulder black dress. Last year, I wore a fun teal cut out dress. With all that is going on right now, I’m so glad I went with something so uplifting!!
While I didn’t get to wear it for it’s original purpose, I know that this dress will see a party soon! It’s a classic that will look great for years to come.
