EASTER TABLESCAPE

My absolute favorite color is blue. Now that we have these gorgeous blue velvet chairs in our dining room, they really set the tone for big holiday gatherings. And not to mention my love of ginger jars! Here’s how my Easter Tablescape came together…

If you checked out this post, you’ll see the pretty forsythia I picked up at Trader Joe’s. Wanting to keep that spring feel with flowering branches, I spotted these pink blooming branches and placed them into one of my ginger jars.

After passing them on my entryway for a few days, I was inspired to use blush and blue for my Easter Tablescape. Originally, I took a trip to Home Goods and tried to pull together a pastel theme with cute bunnies. However, I quickly realized this was not the direction I wanted once I returned home. Since we have so many guests for Easter, kept a few bunny and floral items for the kids table.  Then kept thinking about how the main table would come together.

I was scouting a few sites when I stumbled upon what I needed on Amazon! I’m not the biggest pink person, but knowing Marielle is obsessed with pink,  I knew I would be able to use these pink napkins and linen table runner again and again. I had darker gold chargers, but wanted something a little more light and delicate.  These gold rimmed ones were perfect!  When I opened the boxes and everything worked together, I took huge sigh of relief.

I found these sweet speckled eggs from Target which I scattered around the table. These pink and blue tinted vases were at the dollar spot!!  I was trying to figure out if I should add a flower or napkin ring to the setting, but then got resourceful and used these chinoiserie porcelain balls that I had in hand.

After adding some tulips and ranunculus, it all came together! I seriously love how versatile blue and white ginger jars are. My Christmas table used the same jars but had a richer, deeper hue.

I’m so excited to host this weekend! We’ll be roasting a leg of lamb {using Ina Gartner’s recipe}, eating spring greens, and drinking lots of amazing wine!!

Wishing you and your family a Happy Easter!!!

 xo,

Kellie
