More workouts are coming your way.  It’s a crazy week, but fitting in a good workout is never a bad idea.  Today, I’m sharing my challenging plank workout!

Why Planks are A Great Workout

I like to pepper in planks throughout my workouts.  Why?  For starters, they will help with your posture, which I am all about.  When you hold a plank, you are strengthening your back, core, and chest.

Things to remember.  You want your core engaged so think of bringing that navel to your spine.  Also, try to create as long and straight of a line with your body.  Keep the hips up and chest open.  Feel yourself lengthening while you hold this neutral position.

And you can always take modifications like dropping your knees!



 

11 Minute Plank Workout

For this workout, we have three Ed Sheeran songs to rock out to.  You may not get the “shivers” from these moves, but you just may get the shakes.  This one is definitely a challenge, so listen to your body.  And don’t worry, you’re not holding a plank the entire 11 minutes, but you will feel strong once that time is up!
