Happy Monday friends! I haven’t done a Monday Motivation post in a while, but want to get more into the habit of posting this topic in 2020. Today’s topic is about fitness favorites. Sometimes, a cute outfit is all the motivation you need to get your butt to an exercise class. This year, as I wrote in my 2020 goals post, I have been waking up earlier to start my day. Many times, this includes an exercise class.
I’ve starting sharing on my Instagram stories a weekly recap. For one of the frames, I include the past week’s workouts. Last week looked like this for me:
- Monday: At home 25 minute workout focusing on Abs and Arms. I usually use these hand weights.
- Tuesday: Yoga Class
- Wednesday: Off
- Thursday: Off
- Friday: Reformer
- Saturday: Off
- Sunday: Ofd
Each week looks a little different. I personally prefer to go to a group exercise class because it holds me accountable to show up. Plus, I like to go with mom friends which makes it super fun. That’s why Class Pass works great for me. I get to try out new things like studios and workouts. A few months ago I tried out my first ever Tramp class! It was really fun, but I did spend most of the class worrying about if I was going to fall off and make a fool of myself. Thankfully, I didn’t and I was told that it gets easier. I’ll be back in 2020!
I’ve dabbled in fitness apps like Sweat. Jeff has a few he likes that I’ve done with him on occasion. However, for me, these workouts are more of a backup for when I can’t get to a class or out of the house solo.

If you see me on Capitol Hill on my way to a class or out for a run, I’m typically wearing these Adidas sneakers and black leggings. I also love breaking out my white Alo leggings when the weather is nice. If I’ve headed to a barre class, I bring my barre socks {which you can find on Amazon} and a water bottle or Vitamin Water Zero {which is part of my Amazon prime monthly order shipment}.
